I commenced my career as a celebrant in 2008, conducting weddings in Melbourne, before moving to Wodonga with my husband Cameron in 2014. Since then I have been performing ceremonies in the Albury-Wodonga and surrounding areas.
Moving back to the beautiful Albury-Wodonga area has been quite a sentimental homecoming, after growing up on a farm in Tallangatta Valley, then moving away for many years to study and to work.
I was a primary school teacher for over thirty years in a variety of positions – as a classroom teacher, art teacher, assistant principal, principal and educational consultant. These roles helped me gain excellent communication and organisational skills, both necessary in my role as a celebrant. I am an experienced public speaker and a true people person.
